To make an appointment call 206.938.0682
Beginning January 1, 2018 appointments are scheduled by calling me at 206.938.0682. I am no longer using an online scheduler. As much as I have liked offering this service, I have found it's too hard to manage my schedule effectively which is impacting my ability to serve my clients with the care that I want and pride myself on. I deeply appreciate your understanding on these changes.
Sessions are approximately 60–90 minutes based on your needs, what we agree upon, and will be charged accordingly.
For first-time body therapy clients, your first session is where we lay the foundation for your work with me and includes a physical appraisal as well as treatment. Follow up sessions may include Zen Bodytherapy, Physio-Synthesis, acupuncture, myofascial release, and restorative movement.
My body therapy services are not health insurance-based, only my acupuncture services.
I do offer an Acupuncture Only service which I can bill to Premera and Aetna health plans. I am currently a preferred/in-network acupuncture provider for these plans. Sessions may also include moxibustion, cupping, Setai alignment, and Sotai mobilization methods. Please check with your plan to determine your eligibility for acupuncture services before scheduling an appointment.
If you’ve been in an auto accident, please check with your insurance to see if you have PIP coverage benefits for acupuncture or massage as well as obtain a referral from your physician before scheduling.
Appointment Arrival Time
Please arrive 20 minutes before your appointment to allow ample opportunity to find parking, fill out forms (if necessary), and relax a bit before your session.
Cancellation & Late Arrival Policy
If you have to reschedule an appointment, please give 48 hours notice so that I can offer that time to another client.
Schedule changes made with less than 48 hours notice will incur a $75 change fee.
Missed appointments will incur the full cost of the appointment.
This goes two ways: If I cancel with less than 48 hours' notice, or for whatever reason don't show up for your appointment (Seattle traffic happens!) you get a free session. And if you’re unwell and not sure that you should come in give me a call as soon as possible and we’ll come to a decision about whether to stay home.
There is free parking available in the small lot on the west side of the Saturn Building as well as metered parking in the neighborhood.
Payment is expected at time of service unless prior arrangements are made. Cash, checks, credit card, and HSA cards all accepted.
What To Wear for Your Appointment
For general body therapy (Zen Bodytherapy, Physio-Synthesis, and other): Boxers or briefs for men; underwear and a bra, a two piece bathing suit, or jogging attire for women.
For acupuncture only: Loose-fitting clothing that can be easily moved, men and women.
Also, please remove all jewelry (necklaces, bracelets, watches, earrings, and so forth) prior to entering the treatment room. If you wear fragrance normally, it is best that you do not for your appointment.
